Why I Treat Children

I decided to specialize in pediatric hospital medicine because I am constantly amazed and in awe of the resiliency of children. Even when hospitalized with serious illnesses, children have a remarkable ability to recover and that is really satisfying to be a part of!

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about medical education and hospitalist medicine. There is so much to learn and teach every day! I also look into the various degrees of severity of my patients’ conditions and how that relates to patient safety outcomes.

How I Try to Make A Difference

Every day, I try to advocate for children who can’t necessarily advocate from themselves. I aim to always include families and caregivers so we can truly engage in shared decision making for the best outcomes.
